How do you send an SMS? Are you using the T9 input method? Are you also wondering why you are using these small keys with numbers on it to enter text while you have your Mac keyboard in front of you? Then SMS Mac is for you. Use your Mac to enter SMS text and send the SMS through the Internet. You don't even need a mobile phone. SMS Mac will send the SMS for you.

 SMS Mac comes in several flavors. An Address Book plug-in and a Dashboard widget for Tiger (Mac OS X 10.4) or Konfabulator (Windows XP, Windows 2000 or Mac OS X 10.2 or higher). You decide which one works best for you. Or use all three. The Address Book plug-in works with both Panther (Mac OS X 10.3) and Tiger (Mac OS X 10.4). The Dashboard widget was developed especially for Tiger, Apple's new version of Mac OS X.

Easily send an SMS from your Address Book with the SMS Mac Address Book plug-in. Just open the Address Book card of your friend or contact, click the 'mobile' label and choose the command 'Send SMS' from the popup menu.

The Send SMS Widget is a widget for the Dashboard of Tiger or Konfabulator and can send an SMS on its own.

Each SMS will cost you only €0.10 whether you're sending locally or to a foreign country. No roaming costs are involved. For the use of the software of SMS Mac, the plug-in and widget, we use a subscription model. A subscription to SMS Mac costs €10 per year. You can purchase a subscription using PayPal. The subscription will entitle you to free updates of the plug-in and widget during one year. The initial purchase price of €15 consists of €10 for the subscription and €5 for 50 SMS. You've used up all the 50 SMS? No problem, just recharge SMS Mac with 100 SMS for only €10.
