Version 1.7 of the Send SMS Yahoo! Widget is now available.

What’s New:

new Edit Recent Mobile menu command in the popup menu
contacts are now shown sorted in the popup menu
the menu item Clear recent mobiles shows an alert before erasing
new internal XML interface
more uses of alerts
fixes a bug in Long SMS

The Yahoo! Widget is mainly for use on Windows XP, 2000.

Send SMS 1.6.5 Yahoo! Widget

Version 1.6.5 of the Send SMS Yahoo! Widget is now available.

The Send SMS Yahoo! Widget now supports Long SMS (up until 3 SMS concatenated).

Also new is the ‘Reports’ preference pane, where you can specify a separate email address to receive:

delivery reports
copies of the SMS you sent

So, the email address does not have to be your account ID anymore!

Send SMS 1.6 for Yahoo! Widgets

Available is the Send SMS Yahoo! Widget 1.6.

The Send SMS Yahoo! Widget also runs on Windows.

Version 1.6 adds several import functions. For example, you can now easily import your:

Outlook Contacts (Windows)
Address Book Contacts (Mac)
Yahoo! Address Book (Yahoo!)

It also adds the email2SMS feature which allows you to send free SMS in the USA & Canada, provided you know the mobile operator of the destination mobile.

Send SMS 1.1 for Konfabulator

Available is version 1.1 of Send SMS for Konfabulator. Konfabulator Widgets run on Windows 2000 and XP and Mac OS X 10.2 and up. The changes in this version are:

A newline is added automatically before the signature
Correct calculation of SMS character length
Added the i-button to quickly go to preferences

SMS Mac 1.1 adds SMS delivery reports

SMS Mac 1.1 is released today. This version includes:

Delivery reports. An SMS delivery report confirms that the SMS has been received on the mobile of the recipient. Delivery reports are supported for a number of countries.
All preferences can be set in the Send SMS Widget.
New Konfabulator Widget for the free Yahoo! Widgets. This Widget runs on Windows 2000 and XP or Mac OS X 10.2 and higher.
Small fixes and usability improvements.
