Version 2.2.1 of the SMS Mac Address Book plug-in is available.

This is a bug fix release. The 2.2 version of the plug-in would not load on Mac OS X 10.3.9. This has now been corrected.

The update is not relevant for users on Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5.

The main new feature is in the Account ID preference pane. You can now see your SMS Balance there and there is a button to query your SMS Mac PIN code, might you have forgotten or misplaced it.

The SMS Balance number is updated after an SMS is sent.

This version fixes a very small bug which probably only affects Norwegian users.

The Capital Letter A with Ring (Å) was wrongly classified as a Unicode SMS character. It is actually included in the GSM 7 bit alphabet, see:

Version 1.7 of the Send SMS Yahoo! Widget is now available.

What’s New:

Version 1.6.5 of the Send SMS Yahoo! Widget is now available.

The Send SMS Yahoo! Widget now supports Long SMS (up until 3 SMS concatenated).

Also new is the ‘Reports’ preference pane, where you can specify a separate email address to receive:

• delivery reports
• copies of the SMS you sent

So, the email address does not have to be your account ID anymore!

Since version 2.1.4 we support Long SMS in the widget.

Please also remember that since version 2 we support Group SMS. With a group SMS you can send the same message to multiple mobile numbers. The groups must be defined in the Address Book application.
