This version fixes a very small bug which probably only affects Norwegian users.

The Capital Letter A with Ring (Å) was wrongly classified as a Unicode SMS character. It is actually included in the GSM 7 bit alphabet, see:

This is mainly a maintenance release to make sure the widget is compatible with the Mac OS X 10.4.11 release.

Version 2.2.2 was already compatible with Leopard.

This is an essential update for Mac OS X 10.4.11 (Tiger) users.

New is the ‘Handle Reports’ preference pane, where you can specify a separate email address to receive:

• delivery reports
• copies of the SMS you sent

So, the email address does not have to be your account ID anymore!

We also are using a different type of text input user interface element which should improve performance of typing in the text
of the SMS.

A bug in the “Buy More SMS” button was fixed.

The Dashboard Send SMS Widget has been updated to version 1.7.

The most important changes are ‘under the hood’. We changed
the way the widget communicates with the SMS Mac server.

Secondly, we greatly improved SMS delivery to the US including ported numbers.

We now support sender ID to all US networks, except Verizon.

The widget will now automatically check if a new version is available.

For almost all network operators we support sender ID and
