SMS Mac 2.1 available

Version 2.1 of the SMS Mac Address Book plug-in is available.

New is the ‘Handle Reports’ preference pane, where you can
specify a separate email address to receive:

delivery reports
copies of the SMS you sent

So, the email address does not have to be your account ID anymore!

It also fixes a bug in the French version of SMS Mac.

Please also remember that since version 2 we support Group SMS.
With a group SMS you can send the same message to multiple mobile numbers.

The groups must be defined in the Address Book application.

SMS Mac 2.0 (Group SMS!)

Available is SMS Mac 2.0 which allows you to send an SMS to a group of mobile numbers. New in this iteration are the localized Read Me you see when you launch the installer. English, French, German, Dutch, Italian and Spanish. Instructions for Mac OS X 10.4: Just Control-Click on a group in the left column of the Address Book and use the command "Send SMS to ". Instructions for Mac OS X 10.3: Select the group "All" in the left column of the Address Book or any other group. However, you must now make a selection of your contacts in the second column via Shift-Click or Cmd-Click. Once you have made your selection, use Control-Click and choose the command "Send SMS to Selected Cards". (This method will also work on 10.4). SMS Mac Address Book plug-in 1.7.2

The SMS Mac Address Book plug-in has been updated to 1.7.2.

This version fixes a crash relating to non-initialized preferences and an error in the Unicode length calculation.

SMS Mac Address Book plug-in 1.7

The SMS Mac Address Book plug-in has been updated to 1.7.

The most important changes are ‘under the hood’. We changed
the way the plug-in communicates with the SMS Mac server.

Secondly, we greatly improved SMS delivery to the US including ported numbers.
Also, we have made it easier to enter an American mobile number
in the Replies, Reply to Mobile preference. Please use
this preference to set your sender ID. This is very
important in order to receive replies.

We now support sender ID to all US networks, except Verizon.

The plug-in will now automatically check if a new version is available.

For almost all network operators we support sender ID and
delivery reports. See also:

US users: please set your Replies preference to Reply to Mobile
and enter your own mobile number in international format, like
this, for example: +18015131136. (It should start with +1).

SMS Mac 1.6 (Universal)

Available is SMS Mac 1.6 and eMobile 1.0.

The SMS Mac Address Book plug-in is now Universal and is compatible with the new Intel Macs.

It also adds the email2SMS feature which allows you to send free SMS in the USA & Canada, provided you know the mobile operator of the destination mobile.

SMS Mac 1.5

Simultaneously available are Send SMS 1.5, the award-winning Dashboard

SMS Mac 1.1 adds SMS delivery reports

SMS Mac 1.1 is released today. This version includes:

Delivery reports. An SMS delivery report confirms that the SMS has been received on the mobile of the recipient. Delivery reports are supported for a number of countries.
All preferences can be set in the Send SMS Widget.
New Konfabulator Widget for the free Yahoo! Widgets. This Widget runs on Windows 2000 and XP or Mac OS X 10.2 and higher.
Small fixes and usability improvements.
